Entrepreneurs Bootcamp 2009 Breaks Record
Andrew Reynolds Entrepreneurs Bootcamp came to London’s O2 Arena – the largest indoor arena in the UK – and broke several records for technical production.
Andrew Reynolds said “We wanted to make sure that every single Bootcamp attendee in the Arena got a great view of the presentations made on stage – so we briefed our production people, Smyle Creative, to go larger than any other screen ever used at the O2 – and in fact, quite by accident – we found that Entrepreneurs Bootcamp had broken the record when we created the largest indoor projection screen ever used in the UK!”
It was HUGE! – measuring a massive 34.5 meters wide and almost 12 metres high. The system had an absolute ‘state of the art’ HD projection system to provide stunning bright high quality images. In fact we didn’t set out the break records – we simply looked at the space and asked if we could fill it. The screen literally was as wide as the O2 auditorium. It couldn’t have been wider”
And to make sure that no-one in the auditorium missed anything – the Entrepreneurs Bootcamp team also provided ten huge repeater screens flown above the audience all around the venue, together with plasma screens for those at the front of the arena.
“The Entrepreneurs Bootcamp pushed the boundaries’ of what had come before, in terms of on stage productions, – and this year, having decided on the iconic O2 as our venue we were determined to push it further, to provide an amazing experience for our attendees. Having the largest indoor screen in the UK allowed the Bootcamp’s founder Andrew Reynolds, to produce some very moving and inspirational video pieces, not normally seen at such events – set to music which used to best effect, the purpose built high end Bootcamp sound system.
The Entrepreneurs Bootcamp production team even built a special reinforced stage so that Andrew Reynolds Bentley could be driven onto the Bootcamp stage – to much applause – as part of the prize giveaway for the Entrepreneurs in the audience.
